I am using MacOS with SeaMonkey 2.53.1, but according to "About SeaMonkey", my
user-agent is: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:0.0) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/0.0 Lightning/5.8.1.
If I check headers exchanged with web servers using Live HTTP Headers, I am
apparently not sending any user-agent. What is wrong with the user-agent
reporting? I am also unable to spoof my user-agent.
The main browser window will not stay the size that I leave it upon exiting.
When I launch it again, it is too small. The messenger window is sized to
fill the whole screen, and it will not remember the size I left it either. I
also tried specifying the sizes of main-window and messengerWindow in my
userChrome.css file, but that does not work. Maybe I used the wrong code for
the element name or the setting?
Why do themes now use a different generic bookmark icon in the booknarks
toolbar and the bookmarks manager? I found that it was necessary to have a
file in Mozapps > Places called "defaultFavicon.svg" otherwise no icon would
appear in those places. The stylesheets that set up those icons are still
specifying Communicator > Bookmarks > bookmark-item.gif but that is now ignored.
