I know of no way to do that. Why not set SeaMonkey to load only threads
with unread messages? That gets rid of a lot of stuff you have already seen.
But I don't want to read those unread messages too. I just want to mark
read ALL newsgroups at once since I am not going to bother reading them
since I fell behind and just started caught up on the next time.
If I find some time I will add it. Goes on my nerves too.

I will do one later. Have it working for one account. Making it work for
multiple folders/account selection comes later with all the de-rdf work.
Should be in tomorrows unofficial 2.53.3 unless I hit a snag.
