I have the built in plus the Saved Passwords add-on.
It seems to me that a long time ago at least one or more of those
functions did work. For a long time now, "New" is a active button, but
there doesn't seem to be any code behind it. It just clicks, and
nothing. Edit and Clone are greyed out.
Is this thing supposed to work?

Ray, where are these "New, Edit, Clone" buttons that you refer to??
In my Win7 SM 2.49.5 (check sig file), if I go to Tools -> Password
Manager -> Manage Stored Passwords, I don't see these "New, Edit, Clone"
buttons.
Are they something installed by your "Saved Password" add-on??
