SeaMonkey Upgrade 2.39 to 2.53.6

My wife's PC has not been upgraded in awhile she is running SM ver. 2.39 
on Windows 8. Can in install SM 2.53.6 directly or should install an 
intermediate version first?

I will backup before installing, like I always do on my PC.
