Friends: We're up against a unique and unhappy situation. Our Deputy Director, Heather Henderson, died recently. Heather was a huge asset in helping Dads and Daughters fight for gender justice and battle the cultural messages that devalue daughters. Tragically, her activism could not save her own life � she died at age 27 of a heart attack brought on by an 11-year struggle with anorexia and bulimia. Her loss is immeasurable both personally and for our very small organization. Heather managed our e-base database (and she subscribed to the lists for some time) and since her death, we have been struggling to find out how to manage the program and our member database. Our new assistant, Jenna Cornick (we�re only a 2-person office) has just started here full-time and has thrown herself into learning e-base, but is still running into major roadblocks. We have a year-end appeal that we have to generate a file for (with names, addresses, etc as well as a formula that lists 1.5 times and 2 times the member�s pervious highest contribution). Is there anyone who is willing and able to walk us through this task? Jenna is very bright and can master a lot, but we need guidance fast. Thank you for your help.
