It would be better if in the Node Availability group of the config there were a "What is this?" help button which opens the warning dialog which is otherwise opened when the user switches from transient to permanent. That makes it easier for the average (and below average) user to easily learn what it means to be transient or permanent and could provide the network with more permanent nodes.
