Stable build 5054 is now available. The snapshots have been updated.
Download it from http://freenetproject.org/snapshots/freenet-latest.jar
or use freenet-webinstall.exe or update.sh to upgrade. Source is also
available at
http://freenetproject.org/snapshots/freenet-stable-latest.src.tar.bz2 .

The main change in this build is that multiplexing has been merged after
weeks of development and testing. The network has been reset, so you
will need to reseed from
http://freenetproject.org/snapshots/seednodes.ref (save that over your
existing seednodes.ref and restart the node). There are likely to be
some teething difficulties, and the network will not reach its original
size for a while as users upgrade, however, we believe multiplexing and
the other changes relating to message priorities and bandwidth limiting
will produce a substantial performance improvement, based on testing on
the admittedly rather small unstable network.

This should probably be announced on the website soon (but not
immediately; I would like to fix any obvious issues first).
