Thanks for trying to win back any modem users I may have scared away! My node runs pretty close to 24/7. My node also runs 24/7, but as a result it is always overloaded and doesn't accept new connections very often. Thus I conclude that any node which disconnects is going to have a hard time reconnecting to the network that it knew, and so it will need to re-learn. -Kevin
