Hi,
Tried Freenet again after a long absence, starting two
days ago with 5091. It works fine at first; I got TFE
and "FIND" reasonably quickly. However, about 10
minutes after I start the node, every request (link,
manual CHK request, etc) comes back with the red text:
"Couldn't connect to the network. Are you sure you
have configured Freenet correctly? Also make sure that
you are connected to the internet."
Stopping and restarting the node clears the problem,
but 10 minutes later it comes back. It seem weakly
correlated to visiting link-heavy pages like Freesite
indexes. Retrieval of content cached in my datastore
seems unaffected; for example, I cleared my brower
cache and was able to load a Freesite I visited
earlier even while all the other links led to the
message above. Also, once the problem begins there is
virtually no delay between request and error;
refreshing the page to try to access the resource
again comes back with the error in a fraction of a
second.
Occasionally, the error changes to:
" Route Not Found
Attempts were made to contact 0 nodes.
* 0 were totally unreachable.
* 0 restarted.
* 0 cleanly rejected.
* (x) backed off"
where x is usually between 10 and 20. All other
behavior is the same.
