I think they got rid of transient nodes quite a while back, maybe about a year ago.
Even then, you had to edit your configuration file manually. You can still do that, but it won't have any effect.

My current setting is "Node Availability",and I can't check the "Node is transient" because these are disabled in "Normal Settings" tab.
I tried to check the "Allow Changes to Node Address,Port and Availability" from "Serious GeeKs Only" tab and when I restart the node,it doesn't take effect.
