A word about configging Freenet. The configuration tool you get by right-clicking on the bunny icon is defunct. I think it may still do something or other, but the majority of the options in there are either obsolete or not working. Don't use it. The only way to configure Freenet is by editing the .ini file. Don't worry about the "transient" setting. All nodes should be "permanent" now, whether or not they actually are. In fact, I think this setting is ignored, whatever you set it at. Welcome to Freenet.
