I’d like to be the OS X maintainer. Installer, tray, and bug squishing I could do.
Are you the author of the tray app? If you currently don’t have access to a mac I can attempt to submit a patch. I’m reading up tonight on Oracle & Apple’s documentation on packaged releases.
