Hello,
I am preparing my legacy data so that I may import it into ebase. Luckily the
Admin manual gives examples that cover most of my current legacy fields. I did
not download the data dictionary because it's "zipped." I don't believe I have
the application to "unzip" files.
1) If someone could check their "data dictionary" and tell me what to name the
following two fields, it would be greatly appreciated.
Amount of donation
Date of donation
2) Also the city name is called "Import City." Can I assume that the state
name is called "Import State"?
3) Finally, I have not yet entered or imported ANYTHING into ebase. As I
prepare to import this data, am I only listing import fields for legacy fields
that I'm already using? Or, am I also creating data fields that I know I'll
want? i.e. Should I also be making a list of the other Import Fields that I'll
want to use, but that is not currently reflected in my legacy data?
