I'll let Carl answer for himself, but If I were doing this, I would 
throw all the paper backup for the postings (membership forms, 
response coupons, requests for info, etc) into a file until a backup 
was completed. That way I'd know what data entry had to be re-done if 
I need to restore the file set from the previous backup.

The major stumbling block is that ebase is not set up for individual 
passwords. It will recognize one of three passwords for various 
levels of access, "user" for data entry, "admin" for administrative 
tasks like setup, and "master" for access to FileMaker and the 
structure of the database system.

It would be theoretically possible to change the access structure to 
allow setting individual passwords, but it would need to be set 
identically in all 29 ebase files to work.
