Okay; I wrote a couple weeks ago saying that due to my error, I'd messed up
my solicit, summary, payments, and source code files (at least those, if not
more.)

Recovering, and then going to back ups to replace those files has not been
successful. I still have no payment/summary info.

We've downloaded .103, and are trying to rebuild. I took hope in seeing the
below letter from someone else, as those files I'd mentioned are still
missing, although we have imported names successfully.

I can't figure out why I'm not getting my payments and source codes back, no
matter what I try.

Now, I've gone to the below mentioned import payments and tried to import
the payments 102 and the impay0 file and neither were possible. I matched
the field names, but the program wasn't picking up any file information.
Meaning...looking at the window with the matching field names, and then
desiring to see how the file information lines up; checking file number
one, and then two...but they aren't there. Nothing is there. Go ahead
and push the import button anyway, and it too tells me there's no record to
import. But I had found and identified this ebase 102 payment folder! Why
isn't it accessing it?

Hmmm....

Okay, do I start with some other file other than the payment file...in order
to lay some foundation?
Hmmm...or maybe this "extra" 102 file, which I had thought was
good....isn't. Maybe I'll go try to find a zipped file. I've got backed
up files... These payments have to be accessible somewhere!

I do have all the "hard copy" though. Maybe I'm just going to have to settle
for rekeying everything in....
and redo all the source codes, and visit each of 4500 records to tinker and
re-adjust back in...

I'm going to go find a zipped file (probably not as up-to date) and try the
payment folder in that one....

Lisa

I've done this by importing names with the standard import procedure,
then importing the payments as if they are in a separate file using the
ebase Import Payments routine. You haven't given us much to go on, so
it's hard to give you much more of an answer.

How you do it depends on what you want to track. If you're just trying
to track numbers of members in each level, payment summaries for those
levels, etc., you can just use the existing structure for membership
levels and change the levels using the edit value lists procedure. Once
again, the more specific you can be the better.
