Still hoping to get my satellite MS-Access database to set up a link with
contact information held in Ebase (as an alternative to creating a second
physical copy of that information in Access). I believe there have been no
suggested solutions from my posting here about a week/ten days ago.

Has ANYONE been successful in doing this? Or something similar?

Has anyone else TRIED anything like this?

By exchanging information with those who ARE able to do this, or with
others who have tried, I hope to determine what is going wrong in my
example. At minimum, it might help me determine whether this is a general
Ebase/Access problem, or simply a problem with my unique software/hardware
configuration here...

The current symptoms: I cannot successfully define a link to Ebase from
MS-Access using ODBC (neither populated or completely empty copies of Ebase
will allow the link). I CAN extract data from Ebase using an ODBC MS-Query
from Excel. And I CAN define a link to a newly created "test" FileMaker
database within MS-Access using ODBC.

Thanks much.
