Hi, folks. I'm new to the list, but I searched the archive and didn't find
this question addressed.

I'm having trouble getting ebase files that were customized on a PC to work
on a Mac. ebase says, "This file cannot be opened because it does not
belong to this solution." I thought the problem was file types (a Mac
peculiarity), so I used a file-type utility to change the files to belong
to ebase, but that didn't help.

I don't know much about the FM5 file format... is it different between Macs
and Windows? For instance, are there line feed characters in the PC files
that aren't in the Mac files or something? I transferred the files as a
zip archive on a floppy disk, but I can try a different mechanism next time.

Suggestions? Thanks in advance.
