I am unable to set our copy of ebase as host to multi-user runing Windows
95. When I click the button on page two of the administrator tab I get the
window: "Filemaker cannot host a file becuse of a netork error. Files
marked as Multi-User will not be available over the network [-10]." As far
as I know, the cabling & hub are set right and the correct options in FMP
are set. Is there something I need to know about configuring TCP/IP in
Windows 95? Also, what are the correct settings for TCP/IP in Open
Transport for a Mac guest (Centris 610) running System 7.5.3? (Manual,
DHCP? etc.) The Council urgently needs to get over this hurdle so more of
our staff can help. Thanks.
