Yes, there are a bunch of scripts keyed off IND. In general in ebase it is a BAD idea to change anything without having read most of the scripts. It is quite safe to add new fields to layouts - it is quite unsafe to change names of fields or layouts or delete them.
Okay, I've fixed that but now I'm paranoid about making any changes. So here's my next question.
I've encourage my organization to eliminate the need for pre-printed stationary and envelopes and to incorporate our simple logo and return address into the format of letterhead and envelopes instead. I would like to do the same with the layout in ebase. I did add our logo and address to the layout of a few of the letter layouts and that seems to not have been a problem.
Is there any unforeseen problem if I do the same with the layout for the envelopes? The reason I wonder is that I tried to change the size of the font on the merge fields already on the envelope and it didn't have any effect. It seems to me it shouldn't be a problem if I add a graphic and a text field with our address but would like your feedback first.
