ebase just crashed. I'm a one-man-band with no IT support.
I was printing a thank you letter from ebase and there was an error message
that the spooler had performed an illegal operation. The screen was frozen.
I hit ctl-alt-delete and it said filemaker was not responding. I hit end
task. When I restart ebase it says payment 102 needs to be restored. I
have read over and over "do not hit restore".
I last backed up about a week ago (150 records). Do I have to start from my
entire backup? Or, can I just retrieve the payment 102 and then re-input my
150 payments? Do I delete the old payment 102 before I retrieve the backup.
Please give fairly detailed instructions .... you guys totally lose me when
you start talking about scripts, etc. I'm a "user" and not an IT guy.
