Hello, folks. I'm really getting my feet wet in FileMaker now, but I have
a question that's not addressed in the manual and seemingly hasn't come up
on the support list.

When you do a report in Access, you can specify that certain text will only
appear when certain conditions are met within the record. Is there a way
to do this with FileMaker for layouts such as mailing labels or form
letters?

For example, I created a custom mailing label layout for the labels we use,
which are wide but not very tall, putting the Position field on the same
line as the Name Line. I'd like to put a comma between the two, but *only*
if there's text in the Position field. How do I make that comma's
appearance conditional on the content of a field?

I can think of two ways around this problem, but both of them are heinously
inconvenient. I'm confident that the good folks at FileMaker are at least
as smart as those at Microsoft...
