Without giving this a lot of thought, I think I'd create a new calculation
field called "comma". I'd then write a calculation that says IF
(field)<<Position>> ISEMPTY, "", ",". (this syntax is approximate - see the
IF calculation in the calculation field definition screen.)
I'd position the comma field directly after the name field, without any
spaces (I assume you're using merge fields here) and then add one space,
then the position field.
