We have a PC network with a dedicated server and we just got Filemaker Pro 5. I've installed Filemaker and downloader ebase onto the server following the instructions in the Administrator's manual. My problem is that when I try to access ebase (as hosted from the server)from a desktop computer, it does not open properly. What happens is this: 1. I open Filemaker, & click the "hosts" button. 2. A box appears that lists files such as "custom," "names," and so forth, and I click on "names" to open the file. 3. ebase begins to open, then it says "ebase" must be found to open the program. When I first set ebase to multiuser I had to open each file and manually set each to multiuser, but the "ebase" file won't let me chose the "sharing" option under the "file" menu.
