[support] Remind Date in Notes screen

Is there anyway to make the Remind Date field in the Notes screen actually function as a "tickle" system that lets me know I have something I need to check on as the date approaches?

It seems a useless field if it just stays buried in a Note file for a particular member.  Does anyone use this effectively?
