You can run a find for notes within a specific date range in order to
get the reminders you want.  You could get even fancier and create a
flag field on the Home screen that indicates records that need
attention.  You'd still need to run a find.  You might even be able to
add a startup script which creates a found set on opening ebase of all
records needing attention.  Or start up Ebase when your computer powers
up with that same found set.

What kind of "tickle" are you looking for?  Basically, a tickler is only
as good as the user's consistency in looking for it.  And if you don't
power up your computer on a given day, no database tickler will help
remind you of those tasks.  Which is why I don't mind just doing queries
on the notes dates for records in the date range I want.
