Using FM Pro 5.0 and ebase 1.00 on Macintosh

From the Home screen in Names I click on Find under Tools. In the
top blank field I type in a last name and click "Find". It retrieves
14 records, but not the one I was after. After some puzzlement, I
then click "data entry", then Find, and enter the last name in the
last name blank field and click "Find". This time it retrieves 19
records and the 5 extras are ones listed as "Bus" in the "rec type"
field.

Is there a different way I can do this search that will consistently
find all the records where the contact person has a given last name,
whether they are listed as businesses or as individuals?

Thanks,
Paul Chubbuck
