>Hello, is there a way to share a secured Ebase file over the web with staff?

You can share data in a limited way over the web, but it will take
someone who knows FileMaker well enough to set up the Web sharing
function. It will also require that the host computer where the files
live, to have a permanent connection to the internet, not a normal
dialup. Doesn't sound practical for the situation you describe.

Sharing data for non-networked computers is troublesome. It's in fact
hard enough that you probably won't want to do it. It's possible to
pass the file set back and forth using a zip disk or re-writeable cd,
but only one staff member at a time can make changes. You need to be
careful to watch who has the current version.

For example, you hand off the files to one staff member who does some
address changes, including mine. In the meantime I call you and say I
have a new email address and you change it on your copy. There is no
good way to syncronize those two different changes on the same record.
