Hello Tom,
I think I'm beginning to see one way in which you might be confused.
Unlike other databases, Filemaker does not keep tables as separate from files - each
table is a separate file. So instead of IMPORTING an existing table into one of your
files (can't happen), you just keep it as a separate file and ATTACH it to your
existing files via a relationship. How difficult this is depends on how similar the
structure is.
Then, since ebase does all screen navigation through buttons and scripts, you'll have
to design GUI elements to access your new file and its data.
