Hi Jeff,

This is just a shot in the dark, but have you modified any fields/layouts
(or scripts)? The FileMaker Copy command will only work for a field which is
present on the current layout and which is also unlocked - that is, you can
click and the cursor appears in the field. Incidentally, the Cut and Replace
commands also have the same limitations.

I'm going on fuzzy memory here, since I don't have ebase running, but as I
recall the script sends you to a utility layout where the email addresses
are grouped into a field or fields and copies them. Then it switches you
back, so you never see the utility layout. If it can't get to the proper
layout, or if the field is locked, the results would be as you describe. You
have to follow the scripts and analyze what's happening. There are probably
a series of nested scripts.

To print scripts, go to the File menu and choose Print. One of the dialog
options is to print all scripts or one selected script. The printout you get
is sort of ugly, but it works.
