They were part of a development track that didn't pan out, or were left for future development, by either the TechRocks crew or those of us out in the field (yes, that's a hint - if you do something useful with these fields, post it!). If you have FileMaker and log on with the master password, you will be able to go to layout mode and place these fields on a layout and use them.
