What is the proper way to enter international telephone numbers. Take for instance we have Australian numbers that have the format: 61 - 2 - 1234 - 5678 61 is the Country code (in the US it is 1) 2 is the city code (US area code equivelent) the last 8 digits are is the telphone number (7 digits in the US) So the end result is I end up with one more number than will fit into the field. In some countries the city code is two digits so I would have even more. One way I can see to enter this and to see the result on the HOME screen is to put the country code (62) the city code (2) and number of the eight digit telephone number into thethe HOME AREA CODE field and then change the HOME layout to extend HOME PHONE field display size to show all the numbers. I can't add the 8 digit number into the HOME TELEPHONE NUMBER field because it only excepts 7 digits in the current layout. Is there a better way? Has someone figured this out yet?
