I had to set up a regular report to handle importing dates with 2-digit
years from another system. They arrive as a delimited text file. FileMaker
(we use v4) doesn't handle date conversions well on import and our data came
in as 1901, etc. What I did was to create a new Text field (one of the
existing user fields would also work fine). I import the dates into the text
field, then alter it using Substitute() or Replace() to force m/d/01 to
m/d/2001, for example. Then I move it to the date field using Replace with
Calculated Result with the TextToDate(Text Field) function.
