Thanks, I'll keep this in mind next time. I was lucky that all I had in the system was imported files so I just "found" all of them, deleted the "found" set and imported everything again. I guess my approach loaded up the deleted file but it worked in the circumstance! hgw H. I had to set up a regular report to handle importing dates with 2-digit years from another system. They arrive as a delimited text file. FileMaker (we use v4) doesn't handle date conversions well on import and our data came in as 1901, etc. What I did was to create a new Text field (one of the existing user fields would also work fine). I import the dates into the text field, then alter it using Substitute() or Replace() to force m/d/01 to m/d/2001, for example. Then I move it to the date field using Replace with Calculated Result with the TextToDate(Text Field) function. Persumably you only had 2 digit years on your import records. > ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
