Make sure that the 'Cell Phone Number' field on your layout is not set to
read only. Go into layout mode and right click on the new field and select
field format. Check to ensure that the field in not set to read only. See
Behaviour on the field format window.
Also check to see if you have set this field to Text, Number, or
Calculation. It should be Text or Number and you can then apply formatting
for proper display in a cell phone number format. Have a look at the
Define Field properties of another existing phone number such as HOME PHONE
NUMBER for formatting and validation ideas.
Curious that you are adding a new field for 'Cell Phone Number' as one
already exists in eBase? I suggest you use that field as the formatting
and verification is already in place.

I am also having problems with adding a cell phone
field. I want it in Names.103. I have successfully
gotten the field there, but when I actually try to
