Hmmmm...I've read this posting a few times since I sent it early this
morning, and I have to admit that it registered fairly high on the "Snide
Scale".
I sincerely apologize for that.
There are at least three problems that have probably resulted: (1) some
folks that don't even know me (and perhaps some that *thought* they did)
now think I'm an insensitive dolt; (2) the original poster feels worse than
he ought to; and (3) other users may be more reluctant to send in posts
because they'll get jumped on by me or others like me.
The intent of my response was simply to point out to the poster how I, as
an ebase consultant, interpreted his posting. I was going for "humorous,
but gets the point across". I fear that I may have crossed the "snide
barrier" instead. Perhaps it was the second cup of joe this morning, or
working with too many clients with major problems lately, or the phase of
the moon, or whatever. In any case, I am very sorry if I ruffled any
feathers. That was really not my intent.
And please, folks, post away!
