So, I double click on the "code" field in the value list and I get a dialogue box referencing custom_.fp5, with a option checked "use values from fields specify from custom_.fp5" so then I hit the "specify" button and gives me a list of fields. I select "code" and it gives me information that the values are from the custom_.fp5 file, but no custom values.....and I cant seem to call up what the values are from the file.....
Any suggestions?

The list of values for the popup list is provided by a value list, in
this case apparently called "code". If you are in fact getting a
popup list with these values when you attempt to enter data in this
field, there must be a value list of this name. Be sure you are in
the names file, and select the menu item File>Define Value Lists. The
dialog presented will contain a list of the value lists.

The only way to use ebase to print labels, for example, is to import
the names. If don't want to import them, you could use some other
process, such as merging into a Word layout, for example. The danger
is that you will prospect people who are already supporters.
Importing them into ebase gives you the chance to check for
duplicates with your existing list.
