I have inherited a fairly new database that has some apparent quirks.

I just tried to do my first solicitation mailling with the database and
noticed that some
of the names are printing in lower case (As in 'Dear joe'). One partial
solution is to
define names with the Title Case, but that has the residual problem of
adddressing
letters to two people with an extra capital : Dear Joe And Elise.

The names do not appear in lower case in the individual records.

Reading through the old email files leads me to believe that there is a
functions that
can do replaces, but I did not find a description of that function. I did
see a warning to
be careful doing replaces, and am fortunate to have a copy of our database
to work
with before I try it on the real thing.

Thanks for any help,
Jennifer
