From what you've said, it's a little hard to see what you are doing at present. I'll make a guess that you are using the letter layouts in the names file for your pledge reminders, using the relationship named Pledges to access the pledge information, and merge fields to put the amount and date into your letter. When there are multiple related records (for example two pledges related to the same name) a merge field will use the value from the record at the top of the sort order. In your case that means the oldest pledge. So, you can change the definition of the relationship Pledges to include a sort, in descending order, by start date. Merge fields will show values from the latest pledge. A side effect will be to reverse the order pledges are presented in the pledge summary screen. -- -- Dave Shaw H4 Consulting tel: 206-954-7526 fax: 206-625-1338 ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
