Unless there is someone out there with Eudora 5 running with FMP4.1, you will need to explain more about exactly how it fails. My interpretation of what you have said is that it all appears to work except it never gets into the outgoing mail queue. Do all the screens on the way to be finished look right?
A quick look at the Eudora web site did not turn up anything useful (other than 5.02 is already back level - they are pushing 5.1). One simple test that might show something useful is immediately after the process finishes bring up notepad and do a Ctrl-V to paste the contents of clipboard into it.
