Hello to all, I'm a new subscriber to the list and am glad to find such a wellspring of information available. At this moment, we don't have e-base, but hope to have it soon, depending upon the answers to a few questions.
One huge question I have is this - is it possible to customize e-base on a MAC G-4 Powerbook, using Filemaker 5.5, then have the organization install and use that customized e-base program on PC's to maintain the program and to do input for the data base of the organization. (I'm doing volunteer work for two non-profit organizations in the community to help them with their archaic data base systems; I use MAC and they both have only PCs, so before I update my Filemaker to a current version, I'd like to know if the organizations will be able to use the e-base as customized on the MAC with their PCs.) The e-base website does not seem to address this specific problem and referred me to the "list" for suggestions. So here it is. If anyone has experience with this, or could shed any light on this situation, I would be most grateful. Thanks for any help or suggestions.
