This is a good summary of the issue. What ebase version 2 users need to know
is that they will not need to buy a license from Comm-unity software: we
have already done that. We will probably charge a small fee for some
functionality in ebase 2 that is associated with incoming email (through
POP3it), but not outgoing email (through SMTPit).
