Rachel,

It sort of works like that. But you can't execute one find and then set up
another to limit it. 

You must set up all requests at once. So create your first request, then
create a new request to restrict it. Only after you've created all your
requests (there can be many), should you execute them. Otherwise, FileMaker
thinks you're starting a brand new find and ignores the current found set.
