Title: Re: [support] international addresses
The last line of labels is <<City line>> which is something like:
anytown, OT abc4gg CANADA
for instance.

Subject: [support] Re: international addresses

We are bringing in a database which has separate fields for international addresses and phones.  Apparently these need to be formatted somewhat differently for mailings, etc.  We have brought most of our international data into the regular address fields, and also have also used a couple User Defined Fields, but we were wondering if ebase has any function to handle this dilemma.

I think you are asking mainly about arranging the address fields appropriately for international mail. There is nothing built into ebase, but you could create a new layouts for international labels, letters, and envelopes.

The phone numbers, and Walt says, is a problem. The archives contain a couple of solutions people have offered for re-formatting the phone numbers to accommodate international numbers.
