Another option Mary needs to understand is to just upgrade her v.102 files
with Filemaker 5.5. In other words, open Filemaker 5.5, then open the
existing ebase files. Filemaker will then change the file format of the old
.102 files, but they will remain .102 and any modifications Mary has made
will remain in place. The bug fixes, or the change to v.103, could happen
before, after, or not at all. The Filemaker 5.5 upgrade is independent of
the v.102 to v.103 upgrade.
