at this point, I can see that all 24 of my files are still there. It used to be that the little card catalog at the upper left corner showed 25 cards. Now it only shows one. I think the problem happened when I tried to do a query and went out of the data entry part. Is there anyone located in Seattle who would be willing to hold my hand a little bit?
I bet that you have 25 records in the file, but only one in the
found set after doing the query. Under the rolodex it should
show

Found:
1

Unsorted
The found set is the result of your query - only one record
satisfied the search criteria. Ebase acts on the found set. If you
sort, print, replace, etc., only the found set is affected. To return
to the whole file, click the gray "Find All" button to move
all the records in your file to the found set.
