I recommend checking out NPower. (www.npower.org) They have Ebase and FMP classes and can provide consultants as well (of which I am one.)
But the biggest thing I'd recommend, if you haven't already done so, is to read the Ebase user's manual. It really will help. And then check out the sections on entering data and finding records in your FMP manual. That should give you a good start.
