Your should be able to copy the file to your ebase directory under some other name. Then open it and cut and paste.

I just accidentally deleted 3 important custom Layouts. Our mailing labels, membership confirmation card labels and 2001 end of year appeal. This isn't totally devastating, but, I was curious if it might be possible to retrieve the 3 layouts from a backup file and cut and paste them back in, rather than re-creating them from scratch. ????
