Hello All, I'm playing around with using the 'Salutation Household' field in a personalized letter we are sending out. While for an individual, this field defaults to the First Name1 field, (Sherry Smith = 'Sherry'), the same field for a household record defaults to the Household name line - (Doug and Sherry Smith = 'Doug and Sherry Smith').
Since I need both the full first and last names for the mailing label 'Doug and Sherry Smith' as well as a first-names-only salutation i.e.: 'Doug and Sherry' for the letter, I don't want to change the Household name line to read 'Doug and Sherry', but at the same time, I don't to have the option of modifying the HH Salutation that's visible at the top of the Household Maintenance screen. Does anyone have a work-around or a better way to do this this? Am I trying to use the wrong field? Thanks for your time.
