There are two separate fields in ebase for the two functions you need. Name Line\Household defaults to both full names. Using your example it would be... Doug Smith Sherry Smith The order depends on who you have set as primary record. You can change the value to something other than the default on the Household Maintenance screen. Salutation Line Household defaults to first names only (unless there is a value in the Salutation field, in which case it uses the salutation). For example, Doug and Sherry I note that in your case a field called Salutation Household defaults to Doug and Sherry Smith. If you are reading that right, I'd say that someone has customized your copy of ebase to attempt a different solution to your problem. -- -- Dave Shaw H4 Consulting tel: 206-954-7526 fax: 206-625-1338 ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
