We're running ebase 1.03 and FMP 5.5 on two pentiums (win 98) and we're having problems with the computer acting as a "guest".
from what i can tell, FMP 5.5 is limiting the number of files that the guest can open to 10 files. of course, when using ebase, it is not uncommon that more than 10 files are needed to be open for the various functions. The net effect of this limitation is that using ebase over a network with FMP 5.5 is at all practical. has anyone encounter this problem and does anyone have a solution? thanks, Craig Environmental Resource Center Ketchum, ID ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
